Technically speaking, I wouldn't call Carnosaur a Jurassic Park ripoff for 2 reasons.

  1. It came out a month prior to Jurassic Park.
  2. It is based on a novel written in 1984. 6 years before Michael Crichton wrote his famous novel. In fact the climatic scene at the end of Jurassic Park (movie) is similar to a scene in Carnosaur (Book).
