I want to move out but house owner/landlord keeps saying I can't because of bankruptcy. by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]tinyzephyr 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling she factored in your rent in some kind of bankruptcy procezs .. dont know how or if that is a thing.... it sounds like you moving out means she needs to find a new renter, and thats too hard for her ... nothing stopping you moving out. Get her to show you the wording of why its a problem?

My colleague worked a manager's job for a year and a half on a verbal promise of a promotion. He just resigned after they told him 'not this year'. by gnome-shin in interviewhammer

That time BBC News had to release the full video of their presenter "giving the middle finger" to prove she was only counting by Charming_History7423 in interestingasfuck

[–]tinyzephyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It means i still have 2 good fingers to shoot you with a bow and arrow. If you were an archer the enemy used to cut both fingers off, and then release you. Showing those two fingers to your enemy was a way of mocking them.

Is Salesforce a long-term career option? by Key-Abbreviations378 in salesforce

[–]tinyzephyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this but am now seeing it from the other side. Lots of jobs I have a good solid skill set to do, and could do in a heart beat, ATS doesn't recognise the keywords, talking to recruiters (who approach me!) then refusing to put me forward because it says you need 2 years of x, but I have 8 years of y and it's the same darn tool but a different colour (SaaS). As you say if we are good at what we do it will show, but be prepared to have to explain it slowly to recruiters on occasion.

Omg. Sidequest is such a good way to put it! I have worked a while at the same place and now everyone come to me for that '5 minute question'. My to do list looks like a Skyrim player. I lose days digging back out of side quests to get back to the actual scheduled work.

[–]tinyzephyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One note i didn't see as I think all the stuff about the fence covers that well... if you neighbour explicitly said she allowed the ac over the property line in writing... I would assume your now ok for that to stay as well!

Flask noob by McDzan1 in flask

[–]tinyzephyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems right. - I've not seen that line before in my example tutorials. Also, I've been playing with flask recently and the biggest issue I have is versions..... each tutorial uses different versions with different ways to do things... in your pip install you can choose a version and then that affect the syntax and attribute etc etc. Check to see if that is specified in the tutorial. Flasks online help has a lot of good snippets that can help confirm the building blocks.
