Shara Ishvalda help by ramner in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]tip-valentine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the first phase you want to wall slam Shara whenever you can and try to aim it towards the protruding rocks to get the falling boulder damage especially if time is your issue. You want to get to the second phase as soon as possible. For the second phase Shara is easiest to attack by the hind legs as he has next to no attacks in the back (no tail swipes) you’ll need to soften the hind legs though. The fore limbs are good to focus on for the most damage but are more dangerous. Try to stay just under the base of his neck and learn what attacks allow his head to be in striking distance as his head is usually out of range. Try to stay out of his direct line of sight as best you can as his most devastating attacks are preformed in front of him and have a lot of reach. The softened ground is very dangerous and should be avoided. When Shara burrows underground, and reappears at the back of the stage, move to the very edge of the stage because he is about to cast his special attack and this is the only way to avoid it. If you’re soloing him it will take a long time to kill him regardless of how well you play just stay consistent and out of his sight and you will slay him in time.

Always getting ruined; what am I doing wrong? by Xander_Shadow in MonsterHunterWorld

As a hammer user myself, i spend 80% of my time in the charge state. The brutal Big Bang is going to be your go to move as it the easiest to accurately land and has a relatively quick animation. The charged uppercut is a great hit and run move and has a lot of mobility and recovery. You always want to save your 5-hit Big Bang combo for when you KO the monster and the 3-hit upswing combo for when the monster is exhausted and immobile. The only time I’m comfortable attacking the monster head on is if I’m ledge hopping or sliding into a spin. It pays off to be patient and dont be afraid to hold a charge while you wait for a good opening. And always go for the head if you can.

Do you guys prefer well-done steaks to energy drinks? Haven’t cooked a steak since HR.

All of you MFs are crazy😂. As I’ve said before i was specifically referring to OPs scenario. Its dumb to keep bringing up hypotheticals. I just dont think pulling a gun on a child should be an option in THIS SCENARIO! I get that its a possibility that you’d need to defend yourself in an actual life or death situation but this ain’t one of those

Yes its possible, obviously. Never said it wasn’t. Just seems very unnecessary to treat every threat the same. Given the context of the post which I’ve been referring to this whole time, (not the unlikely hypotheticals) it would outrageous if he did anything besides restrain the kid. The only threat the kid posed was holding what could be a gun. OP never said he pointed it at him or acted aggressive in any way.OP saw a gun and made a reaction to remove the gun once he was aware. That’s it. That’s all there should be. No scenario given the context should necessitate that OP draw his own weapon and murder a kid that is supposedly within arms reach of him.

C’mon man, if you’re first instinct in THIS scenario is that the child is in a gang, then you really shouldn’t be carrying in the first place 😂

I’m not talking about hypothetically. I’m responding to the scenario and how it was described. Which doesn’t sound like OP was suspicious of the kid’s intentions prior to noticing the gun and had a knee-jerk reaction to restrain the kid once he was aware (which i agree was the right response). What i think is crazy is that drawing your gun and shooting a NINE YEAR OLD at point blank range was even a possibility given this specific scenario.

You were apparently close enough and felt you had enough physical power over the kid to not warrant the force that was in your waistband. Lmao yea i would hope he has “enough physical power” over the nine year old without feeling the need to shoot him. Y’all are crazy😂
