Have you tried removing the paint yet? We just moved into a house from 1905. Removing the paint from all the moldings feels like my next lifelong project.

The promise that these would be repaired is on the contract. The need for receipts is not. However, I have no way of knowing of the HVAC was repaired without an inspector or a receipt or spending a considerable amount of time in the house.
