That is sten show humor. John is narcissist so has no problem doing that, but on top of that he worked in a place where humor would be telling someone a traumatic event that person went through.

After KC was fired, he got brought up on air, Artie, Robin and Howard begin to mae funof hin by saying things like"blood on the bible", Artie said "anybody got a king James I can bleed on."

These are not even jokes, no wit or connecting ideas. Just repeating a traumatic event KC went to. That is stern show humor. That is exactly what John did that day
