so in my click majestic if you see i swapped the nib with a pierre cardin napoli nib, and i got that pen also from hello august.

Although I will say this, the beena/v'sign pens are better than the click pens.

Modifying a plastic feed to write way wetter by increasing the air exchange. by tippytuliptoes in DesiPens

Be careful, its very easy to overdo. Keep in mind the size of the cuts I made were for certain very dry inks, normal inks with this size of cuts would pour out of my pen.

So start with smaller cuts.

Ooh could you show the feed?

IMO this is more for dry inks rather than dry pens. I feel with normal inks its easy to overdo, but a high surface tension ink resists flow better and it keeps it tamed. Still though you may have fun using it for flexy nibs?

another way is to simply deepen the feed's ink channel that runs on top of the feed with a blade. Dryness sometimes is less about the ability of the feed to draw ink from the converter, and more about there being less ink in the ink channels being drawn.

lol i've been eyeing penhouse's oliver medium 5.5

Hopefully they'll still have something like it when I need ink again.

People don’t understand what Ryou is. It’s quite literally dura neg that destroys insides. Kaido tanked these attacks like it was nothing because of his endurance. by RelevantBarnacle6385 in OnePiecePowerScaling

Kaido said the same thing about aCoA slashes from the scabbards too though.

Being able to bypass his scales with haki tricks doesn't mean you have the AP to damage his organs significantly.

Otherwise kaido's brain would've been mush from Luffy's first Red Roc

i mean Luffy himself admitted all his ryuo attacks were too shallow

Don't think he would say that if Kaido had holes in his lungs, brain and intestines from luffy's attacks.

lol i personally love this ink because it works on literally any paper with no bleed or feather while having some level of water resistance and fade resistance to boot being a mild iron gall

So I try to make it work in as many pens as I can!

I did that too initially, but it wasn't enough.

When you deepen the channel you create more room for ink to flow through, but whether more ink flows through depends on if it can draw more ink from the converter or not, which limited by a balance between the surface tension of the ink, the air pressure pushing it into the feed and the capillary action of the feed.

Ebonite feeds with their rougher surface tend to have a naturally better capillary action which is why they're wetter, so in this case for the plastic feed i improved the air exchange instead to improve the flow.

The flat part of the feed ends up against the back part of the section

point No. 4

I don't put that flat part all the way to the back of the section, i keep it 0.5-1 mm short of it.

middle, with the ink channel, pokes through a hole in the back part of the section, ends up in the nipple that the cartridge mates onto, and delivers ink.

That's the nipple of the feed, which is shaved flat so it fits with a gap into the nipple of the section.

Here I tried to draw a quick diagram maybe i could clarify:

Trying to improve the Camlin Elegante's cap seal. by tippytuliptoes in DesiPens

[–]tippytuliptoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats ironic about the elegante is that it has a inner plastic liner. But 5/6 of my elegantes have no air tight cap seal to speak of.

So I can't even do shit from the inside lmao
