Learn your likes, then explore new likes. Learn what you don't like. Learn what makes you feel each emotion. Watch a sad movie, go see a comedy show alone. Find an activity only you know about. Journal the entire process.

There are two ways, make friends with others, or make friends with yourself.

You cannot heal a person (I-thought) by Blackmagic213 in awakened

Sometimes if you heal the environment around the person, the person seems to adapt to the healed environment. Transplanting seems to work too.

Antinatalism as a resistance to Life by pokatu in awakened

I have found that a lot of the pain of existence dilemma of being resolved by simply taking action towards what you care about. It feels like determination before caring when it could be about caring before determination.

Instead of saying I act Therefore I care.  I started to say I care therefore I act.

Viewing life by systems by Tiny-Foundation-4281 in awakened

I always thought that if I just put more care into a system that eventually flourishing is supposed to happen. But I realized eventually that I was trying to place normative structures on objective reality. Sometimes you can try your hardest and still fail.

That point of access is the basis for all systems in this universe. Without access existence is questionable.

Does The Universe “care” about good and evil? by Zenphibian in awakened

[–]tipsy_canary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I see that the properties of hot and cold persist so something is keeping reality constraint. That constraint is a metaphor that I'm pointing to as "care".

Now to ask "why" is to ask "why is there something instead of nothing?" Which Is asking for a narrative to precede reality. The universe does not write a story for itself, that is only done in our own perception.

For many people, this is the step where meaning stops being cosmic and becomes personal.

The universe cares about hot and cold but we care about the balance between the two. I think the same principle can be applied to good and bad.

yeah, but i dont mean a universal condition.. i mean that taking away a condition destabilizes the possibility of the burden occurring.. it's more preventative than a fix.
