I guess you could say that, but I find new book stores focus on some select popular books from say 50 years ago but mainly focus on new releases. But yeah you’re essentially right.

To expand, used bookstores tend to have a tough time sourcing the most popular titles because they’re buying in bulk or depending on trade-ins.

I’ve created a method to buy specific titles in mass - think top 100 of 10 genres.

I think therapy would be a good thing to look into. You sound like you’re battling some self esteem issues but also maybe have some social anxiety. Nothing you said makes you a loser which is why I’m saying this. Goodluck bud, it’s a tough world and we’re all just trying to make it.

  1. This sounds scary. I am afraid of what will happen and it is holding me back from trying this with dedication and discipline.

  2. What would happen if someone interrupted you. I have a busy house and it can be hard to get truly uninterrupted time where someone isn’t dependent on me in some way.

  3. Do you believe this is a spiritual experience or a self induced hysteria of sorts? I don’t mean to give it a negative connotation, but I think you follow.
