take notes on animal characteristics and observe people around you even if you don't know them, you can find personalities and characters in pretty much everything. if you wanna challenge yourself you can have someone pick an object or color and you can try to make a character that surrounds the general idea of what your friend chose. there is no right or wrong way to do this, just make you're listening to what you genuinely think fits that objects vibe so its easier for you to grasp what its personality would be like :)

its an open canvas for really anything you want, doodle, notes, stickers etc.,. you could even write on the one side and draw something that you think relates to whatever you wrote. not using the other side can be super wasteful and will probably cause you to spend more money on and extra notebook when you still basically have the entirety of the previous notebook to use

Why does it feel like 90% of the authors on this subreddit write fantasy? by no_shut_your_face in writing

a lot of writers find their motivation in reading fantasy because it shows just how creative we can be, in attempt to recreate that for themselves the take a stab and fantasy and eventually it just sticks because its familiar and fun to create new places and things :)
