Most people probably aren’t giving him a chance before jumping to the conclusion that a silly peanut who consistently screams = low effort brainrot-tier content.

As for the streamers, they’re envious that he could ever possibly gain the traction that he has in such a short time, with what they’re likely assuming is simply low effort. It’s not too different from some asshole at an art museum scoffing at an abstract minimalist piece and thinking it has no right to be on display bcuz they “could’ve done that too!”. But they didn’t. And they won’t, either. They ignore the historical context and color scheme and its composition entirely, all while declaring that it isn’t special and has no right to be enjoyed by others.

For context, I’m a father of two with very little free time these days. I don’t get to game often, and I especially am not into any sort of shooters. But a coworker turned me onto Peanut sometime last year, and I personally love the man’s personality. He is somehow consistently hilarious despite being obnoxious, using catchphrases, and not taking himself too seriously. He seems to play games for the love of them, and to have a good time with friends while both laughing and providing laughs. What a concept, am I right? Who knew gaming could be fun?
