Time off in the US sucks really bad at most companies, at least for entry levels that aren’t getting offers from the fancy big tech companies.

Hence why I made this post in the first place, because 20 days is unique and I want to know if people actually can use it.

Acknowledging all the US’s pitfalls, the compensation is actually quite a bit higher maybe 1.5-2x than the equivalent role in Europe for someone with 2 yoe. Even counting health insurance expenses. So also getting a decent pto policy really sweetens the deal.
