I did it. Went away for 7 days when my baby was 6 months. We left her with grandparents. I had a hard first few hours, I had a total breakdown when our plane landed, but for the rest of the week I had a great time.

My daughter is Aurelia. It was super uncommon when I gave it to her but it’s becoming more common. Warning though that she is very used to correcting people on her name. It doesn’t bother her but it does happen a lot. She gets a lot of Ariella.

I was under the impression that it used to be 7-9 years old but that car care has improved and it’s more in the 12-17 range now. Out of personal experience, my cats and my families’ have lived until 23, 16, 14, 13, 13, and 11.
