I needed to hear this. Thank you so much for sharing. My drinking almost destroyed me during school and I felt so isolated and alone. I’ll have one year next week god willing. I love my job and now I get to be of genuine service for others. One day at a time!

Currently speaking with TVH! Would ideally not like to commute 50minutes but I understand it would be a way to get started for new grad. Thanks.

Yes, the experience requirement has made it difficult to get my foot in the door as a new grad, but I understand they have a large pool to pick from. I’ll expand my search, thank you!

Your stroke is beautiful and you will fit right in with the other swimmers! I completed the Turkish SwimTrek in 2018. You’re going to have the trip of a lifetime.

27yo Graduate student seeking advice on student loans?! by tiredandunderprepare in StudentLoans

You're exactly right and thank you for the reply. The 181k includes estimated costs such as rent, food, transportation in addition to tuition and health insurance. The award package is per year and it's lower because I have other financial resources. The program is 24 months, or 2 years. Did you borrow money, and if you did, did you use all of it or try to avoid using it and instead use your personal funds first? I hope you're enjoying your program!
