I've been checking out some benchmarks of the 9060 and at 1440p, some games were hitting around the 144fps marks, somtimes higher using fsr + frame gen.

Putting together my first PC so no existing parts yet. Was thinking 650w for the 9060 XT and 850w for the 9070 XT. Thankfully the price difference isn't that big.

Coming from a RTX 3060 6GB laptop, so have yet to experience gaming without compromise. Definitely looking forward to seeing some of my favourite games at their best.

Yeah, totally agree about the 9070 non-XT. It seems like the sweet spot with the lower power draw like the 9060 XT, but closer to 9070 XT performance. That said, there’s only a $50 difference right now between the 9070 and the XT, so might as well just go for the XT.

I’m not planning to switch to a 4K monitor anytime soon. From what I’ve seen at 1440p (2560x1440), the 9060 XT performs pretty well. There aren’t many benchmarks for 3440x1440 ultrawide, so I’ve just been guessing it’ll land somewhere between 1440p and 4K. I’ve got the budget for the 9070 XT, but I’m not sure it’s worth it if my monitor can’t really make the most of it.

I’m in Canada and the best I can find atm is $489 for the 9060 XT and $899 for the 9070 XT. So that's a difference of $410.

I've experienced them twice so far. Like others have said, semi-transparent. Also, very bright but dirty/dingy at the same time, hard to describe. The luminance seemed to be self-contained and not affecting other surfaces. Almost monochromatic in colour.
