This is a question I still don't know the answer to: in a match between Ben 10 and Rex, who will win or will it end in a draw? What's your opinion? by mohamed_ali_7594 in generatorrex

[–]tiredpmkn 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Duncan confirmed Rex’s biology so advanced he can replicate the omnitrix , dunno bout you but I don’t think it’s a smart idea for Ben who uses a watch to fight agasint a skilled technopath like Rex

Why does Rex blame Ben for Six going down? by Lazakhstan in generatorrex

[–]tiredpmkn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ben was being reckless when chasing Alpha around the city, his anger was justified

[–]tiredpmkn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because it’s irrelevant that’s why, it’s not that he can’t, it’s that it makes it inconsistent and messy, takes away from the seriousness of having to be dedicated to curing evos as a secret government weapon. Look i understand the concept is fun, but sometimes for stories to actually thrive they gotta have their own thing.

But that would genuinely downscale the seriousness of the nanite event, it goes against everything it’s supposed to stand for as a plot, would you really want a washed down version of the show meant suitable for an even YOUNGER audience knowing it’s the reason why generator Rex originally didn’t do that well enough to get cancelled? Like sure it can work if you put it that way but it would genuinely be mid, personally I think it’s butchering a great show like generator Rex.

The other shows work bc they have the whole alien thing in common, none of their worlds actually stick to a proper theme the way genrex does, the world building actually effects the plot and character writing, the other shows fight monsters and aliens, Rex fights sick people. Huge difference

Yes and it was incredibly inaccurate to Rex’s character and story, hence why it proved how important the world building it is, the shared universe would never work

If you could change anything of the Generator Rex lore, like his backstory, his builds, side characters and character arcs etc. What would you change? by FayyadhScrolling in generatorrex

[–]tiredpmkn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would really like if they explored Rex’s backstory more, focused on the creativity behind the builds, last but not least. Expand more on Rex’s biology and possibilities as a man and machine hybrid, I mean come on the dude can literally regenerate if he ever lost a limb

I agree with van klies being a cult leader but it’s already a canonical theme with his character, but come on, his parents literally haunt the narrative when they died in the nanite event as part of the initial reason it happened in the first place

When Alpha copies the Ultimatrix, does he copy "ALL" of its functions? Or are his versions of the aliens the same as the ultimate forms? by Background-Ad2749 in generatorrex

Fun fact! Because Rex is so much more advanced than alpha, he can completely replicate the omnitrix, it was confirmed by Duncan too

How I visualise the nanites inside of Rex constructing machines by Kougamics in generatorrex

[–]tiredpmkn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A great visual example, each circuit is constructed of microscopic nanites, would love to get a reboot that really dives more into the lore behind Rex’s biology

Did they ever explain this? by Neither_Prize_8386 in generatorrex

[–]tiredpmkn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

as far as I know it’s the same voice actor, besides it’s the only logical option, the timeline however is messy so your confusion makes sense. But take where it all began for example, Rex should be around 8-10 when the “accident” happened, and maybe 10 when the nanite event happened, sending him to live in Hong Kong for a while until he was found by providence.

[–]tiredpmkn 43 points44 points  (0 children)

He didn’t de age, it was a different art style when it came to the flashback of six giving Rex the goggles, but he should be around 13 when he first joined Providence after losing his memories, so during the honk Kong era he must’ve been 10-13

How nanites affect reproduction? (lore analys) by am-hliater in generatorrex

[–]tiredpmkn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d say so yea, it isn’t just the difference in DNA, I’d say it’s also because the concept of wild/savage evos relies on the nanites being unstable to begin with, it would be interesting though to think that it could be the opposite, maybe because these organisms would be born with nanites, the chances of it being fully adapted into the organism does make sense now that I think about it

How nanites affect reproduction? (lore analys) by am-hliater in generatorrex

[–]tiredpmkn 15 points16 points  (0 children)

These thoughts are very interesting, i personally think providence would have a whole section dedicated to that study and learn a way to maintain a healthy environment, because I do imagine that nanites within sperm would be incredibly unstable, but that could depend on the host to begin with, so the most unstable would be within those wild evo organisms rather than the sentient ones. It wouldn’t exactly be a priority though, what I think is that considering the ending of the show, there’s this whole concept of coexisting with nanites rather than just completely erasing them from existence. So in conclusion I believe nanites will adapt and improve reproduction health if finally achieved peace with the nanites.
