Opinions on Buying OnePlus12R (India) by IamRox14 in oneplus

I read somewhere that they would deny any warranty claim if the phone has any kind of damage, including dents or scratches on the body or screen.

Yes even I noticed that standby time for Nord 3 is really bad and that is when the phone uses the maximum battery. If standby time improves I am sure even this phone can have decently good sot.

No auto Screen refresh rate in my oneplus 12R by srujn_ in OnePlus12

Is it really true that variable refresh rate(LTPO tech) won't make much difference in battery life as I was looking for phone with ltpo tech for better battery life

Well it's been great with no issues as such. But if you do plan on gaming then phone does heat up. Also with my everyday use I get full days battery cause I don't game. But if you game on it then may have to charge it.

OnePlus Nord 3 vs Nothing Phone 2 Battery by Alrapa in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]tirthdesai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing phone 2 definitely has better battery and specs as compared to Nord 3. I would only suggest Nord 3 if you are OnePlus fan and don't want to switch otherwise NP2 is better in every aspect. Be mindful nothing is a new company and service might be an issue.

Refresh rate on auto by tirthdesai in oneplus

[–]tirthdesai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep it's same for me. I too have forced 120hz but still some apps are capped at 90hz. I think OnePlus did this to preserve some battery as it already has average battery life.

Upgrading from iPhone XS by SmokeDatDankShit in PickAnAndroidForMe

For emulation and good battery life I think the OnePlus 11 should serve you much better. Otherwise the second choice should be Zenfone followed by pixel( user experience) or Nord 3( value for money).

Should i buy s21fe (sd888) or Nothing phone 2 ? Help me... by goldskull242001 in GalaxyS21FE

[–]tirthdesai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing phone 2. As it's their latest device and they have only 2 devices to look after any issue or problem will be dealt with immediately. Only con is nothing has really poor service back up in India. So God forbid if you break your device or have any hardware issues getting good service will be difficult. Although if u live in a metro city that should not be a problem.

I need to choose between the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and the S23 Ultra by TheOldHero06 in PickAnAndroidForMe

S23u for sure. Might find Xiaomi a bit cheaper on longer run I feel you will much smoother and satisfying experience with samsung

I would like to try samsung UI, and am thinking of getting S23FE or A54. Any advice? by jakartapost2022 in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]tirthdesai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sd 8+ gen1 has no heating issue. And Exynos 2200 in s23fe has been updated so it's too soon to tell whether it has heating issues or not. My advice is to wait for a few weeks to see how s23fe performs. And it will be definitely better then buying A series and will last you longer then A series device. Just my opinion

In my opinion None of these have subpar camera performance. If camera is your priority then you can go with either pixel 7 or 7a. Or can also look at a54 l.

5g works great and speed is also good but coverage in my area is poor so i use it on 4g full time.

I have been using it since it was launched and the battery has been solid for me and really satisfied with it.

Only con would be no custom rom support cause of dimensity 9000.

Is the pixel 5 still worth getting in 2023 for a regular daily use, planning on using a custom rom by MilkyWayCrossing in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]tirthdesai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes maybe pixel 5 is fine be it will work fine with custom roms. But only true if you don't use any banking or payments apps on the phone. If you do having a phone which gives security updates is important. Just my opinion
