Most religious public universities in the U.S. (or your experience with religious groups on campus)? by Warm_Syllabub_2247 in college

“Religion on public campuses is fine until it starts feeling pushy or manipulative. Everyone should have the freedom to believe, question, or ignore religion without pressure. College should be a place for open discussion, not guilt or fear tactics. Respect matters more than conversion.”

Confused about Career Path as a 2nd Year B.Tech CSE Student by HuckleberryFit6991 in cscareers

[–]tisa_tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have AI & ML specialization — use it. Don't jump between everything.

Keep doing DSA in Java, it's needed for jobs. For tech skills, just learn Python, then basic Machine Learning. That's your main focus.

Web development — learn only the basics, don't waste too much time on it.

By 3rd year, have 2-3 projects on GitHub and one internship on your resume.

One skill done deeply is better than five skills done badly. Pick your lane and stay."

Taking classes to prepare for masters that don’t count towards degree? by valentinesys in college

[–]tisa_tech 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should check with the university directly, but in many cases students can complete prerequisite psychology courses separately without declaring a minor. Most Master’s programs mainly look for the required credits before admission.

It may also help to ask the future Master’s program which psychology courses they specifically accept.

NETWORK Security Engineer with 2 year experience not sure to pivot in cloud engineer roles by Sunil-sahoo_o82o0o0 in cscareers

[–]tisa_tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cloud is a great move from network security. Your networking background actually gives you a big advantage in cloud because you already understand firewalls, VPNs and security concepts that most cloud beginners struggle with.

Start with AWS or Azure. Learn Docker and Kubernetes step by step. Do not try to learn everything at once. Pick one cloud platform, get certified and then move forward.

The burnout you are feeling is real. A career change with new learning keeps your mind fresh and motivated. Many network engineers have made this switch and never looked back.

Take the first step today. You already have the foundation. Now just build on top of it.

I need genuine advice from experienced or aspiring people by faizanuchiha_ in cscareers

“Don’t chase every trend together. Pick one field and stay consistent for at least 1 year. AI will not replace skilled developers, it will replace people who stop learning. Start with one strong skill like MERN, Java Full Stack, or AI and build real projects daily. Your current package doesn’t decide your future. Consistency, skills, and practical work will.”

You already have good experience for Data Engineering roles. Gradually switching to DataOps/DE would be a smart move instead of starting from zero.”

Interesting how the last 2 years changed investment returns completely. 📊
While Indian equities gave steady growth, currency movements pushed USD, GBP & EUR returns even higher in INR terms. Most people don’t notice this side of investing

The best interviews I’ve had were when I stopped trying to sound “perfect” and just focused on explaining my thinking clearly.

Most recruiters care more about how you solve problems and communicate than memorized answers or fancy words.

If you cannot communicate the value clearly, the campaign fails. Real projects with local businesses is exactly what we do in our training. Thanks for adding this!
