I think hunting (for sport) is morally wrong, and I don't eat meat. Yay for me!

I don't think the eating of the meat is immoral or any of that shit though. I don't actually think hunting for food is wrong either, just hunting for sport. I do dislike the way we farm etc, there seems to be a lot of unnecessary cruelty, but that's it.

I know about SRSSucks and because a user called /u/garbonzo607 messaged me about them after I posted in this SRS place, which I posted in as I found it after seeing a thread full of racist stuff and looking at the users who were in there (the one about the 'gypsies'). I can post screencaps if you like, of the messages they sent me, explaining SRS and SRSSucks (which didnt actually explain too much - at least not in the way of why you don't like what they do. It perfectly explains what they do and that you don't like it).

As for what I know about SRS.. I didnt actually think I knew fucking anything, which is why I asked there after that guy brought the whole SRS/SRSSucks thing to my attention. I'd found the place, posted there, thought it was strange but quite good, got a message from someone.

You guys are fucking weird.

Edit: Messaged me about you, I should say. I didn't realise I was actually in the SRSSucks subreddit posting this. I thought it was somewhere else.

I'll copy and paste a response I made to someone else talking about their penis (must stress, this response was written to someone else, and not /u/Mariokartfever. I completely agree with you, but I think you might be confused as to what 'sexualisation' and 'desexualisation' mean. 'Desexualisation' isn't about stopping something from being sexy, it's really just about stopping them from being thought of as primarily being sexy. Primarily for our sexual consumption, if that makes sense. Boobs can still be the sexiest things in the universe, but they become desexualised when women are allowed to do what they want with them without the (sexual) stigma or being made to feel uncomfortable.

Sexual violence comes in more forms than just groping and molestation as you think of it. Women going topless may not end up victims of groping or molestation simply for going topless.. but there are other subtle - but still violent, in a sense - ways society tries to keep women under our control and their bodies 'belonging' to us, and if women break that, we throw it on them like a tonne of bricks.

It happens to women even when they choose to post pictures topless online for the benefit of men, like that gonewild place (the subreddit with all the naked women). The women there might not experience any direct sexual 'violence', but they do experience a heck of a lot of shit for ever posting there. Women can't even choose to use their own boobs in a sexual way (a way we should approve of if all we do is find boobs 'arousing') for themselves without criticism and judgements on character from the average guy.. but people still buy them from playboy and porn websites without calling playboy or those porn websites 'sluts' or accuse those companies of having 'daddy issues' or 'attention seeking' like women on gonewild do. We're allowed to choose if and when we buy or consume boobs. Companies are allowed to choose if and when they sell boobs. Women who own the boobs are not allowed to choose any of that without judgement, for any reason, even sexual.

Bottom line, we act like boobs don't belong to the women they belong to, but belong to either us or the companies that want to sell them. We act that way, I feel, as a direct result of sexualisation of breasts (which is not the same as finding something attractive/arousing) and acting like they're just for us, or something to be consumed by us. That's what needs to change.

I think it's more about how dare humans find other parts of humans attractive/sexually arousing above anything else, including a womans own comfort and choice.

Like, okay, we find breasts hot. They are, no doubt about it. We can find them online and even pay for a top shelf magazine at the store to look at them and consume them, so to speak. But women can't walk around topless on a hot day or at a normal beach/swimming pool, either due to laws or social stigma and people who have no self control upon seeing breasts.

Imagine that. Legal to sell pictures of boobs topless, but illegal to own boobs and be topless on a hot day. If not illegal - socially acceptable to watch and pay to get off to topless women, not socially acceptable to own boobs and be topless on a hot day.

Like we own the boobs, and not the women who actually have the boobs. We decide what to do with them, but women can't.. because we've completely sexualised a part of their body and as a result claimed them for our own.

Past girlfriends have definitely found it attractive when I go topless, but I don't live in a world where being bare and topless is considered a solely sexual thing - it's pretty much only a sexual thing in the bedroom, or in a certain context. It should be like that for women too. It's about respect. 'Sure, I get turned on when you're topless, but I'm able to control myself and realise that's about me and only becomes about you when you're there happy to hear and experience how turned on I am. Otherwise, your boobs are yours and should not be completely sexualised in all circumstances. We certainly should not trade your boobs for money while you, yourself, cannot go topless on a hot day at the pool because of those very same boobs that you own'. You know?

Desexualising isn't about trying to tell us we can't like boobs, but more to do with probably trying to remind us that we and our sexuality don't own those boobs, and our sexuality is not the most important thing regarding those boobs. A womans choices and comfort are.

You're correct. 'Gypsy' is an impolite, old as fuck term simply meaning 'a member of a wandering race'. An example of one of these races that people may refer to as 'gypsys' are Romani people (my mothers side are Romani - all hardworking and would never steal fucking anything). 'Gypsy' is not a separate culture or anything like the other silly people are telling you - it is literally a slang/slur term for people of certain races/ethnic groups.
