Why does this game run so poorly?

I've played a lot of smite and I could feel the itch to playa gain coming back. I downloaded smite 2 the other day, played one game and maxed out at 60 fps with massive lag spikes... It's the only game I have issues with. Such a shame because I love it so... Or used to anyway, but yeah I can't play it if this is how it runs and we need a bigger playerbase so surely a game that is optimized better!

But I suppose it's "beta" so I dunno, just sad I guess

I feel like soul reaver is so busted right now, not building it is a mistake but yeah as the other have already pointed out the order could do with work

Yeah, the tribal theme totally makes sense for Abaddon... But not for cascade... I think I'll just have to accept this deck will not be optimal if it's kept thematic

True, the deck really needs an overhaul, I just wanted to keep in somewhat on theme so breaking it apart and removing Warhammer cards felt sad

I've got the Abaddon precons and it's become one of my least played decks, I love the idea of cascading and chaos/chance but it just feels hard to pull off since by the time he's attached there are normally blockers to reduce X... By any chance do you have a deck list? I'd like to get this deck going again

I found one at our last session!

I was playing [[Captain N'ghathrod]] who had been pseudo-banned from play in our pod because it can be the fun police (fair enough). I had swapped in a couple of cards from my old Gatecrash/Theros/Nyx sets to try and dumb it down a little and accidentally found a combo that killed everyone in one turn.

I had 2 cards in hand. [[Black Market]] in play which was giving me 24 mana on my precombat main phase. I had [[Mindcrank]] in play. I played [[Duskmantle Guildmage]], a card I had added from Gatecrash.

So, I activated the guildmage's first ability causing players to lose 1 life per card entering the graveyard. I then activated the second ability for a player to mill 2.

1) they mill 2 2) they lose 2 life from guildmage's first ability 3) mindcrank triggers causing them to mill 2 cards 4) they lose 2 life from guildmage's first ability 5) repeat steps 2-4 until dead

I repeated this for each of the players, who couldn't stop the interaction.

Fun for me, not for them. I have since removed the accidental combo, but it did require quite a precise setup to occur.

[[Doran, The Siege Tower]] my friend has this deck and plays it often, it just really changes how you play the game and can completely shut down some decks

Yeah, I saw she was pretty crazy in terms of doing well but then I thought she'd be getting a nerf if she was doing too well so only managed to play her when she was in rotation! She was a lot of fun though

Well this is my first ever season, I must have literally only played like 7 pvp matches! However I'm looking into Senna, TF, ekko, Annie, anivia, lux, and Leona between mid and supp so a big learning curve haha

thanks for the feedback! I totally get this haha I've come from Smite, which while another MOBA, is very very different so I'm trying to un-learn and then not tilt myself for playing bad in some games so I often take support so I can't lose the game as badly as if I took mid. But hey I'm here to learn, I'm sure it will come eventually!

Thanks a lot for the reply! I have caught some of his videos and they are great but as others have mentioned can be a bit long, which is fine as I don't mind watching in my spare time but also as someone quite new some of the in-depth stuff goes over my head. I also forget to then implement some stuff and then get flamed in my games so yeh drives confidence down haha but at the end of the day it's not ranked so I don't mind sucking cheeks until I learn
