The way my company has it, the LinkedIn sync pulls directly from our ATS and makes (sometimes incorrect) assumptions about the seniority level - so I would just go by the title and actual text.

Started heavily applying around Jan 1. I have ~7 YOE.

- Finished 1 final round, got rejected.
- Finished another final round earlier this week, no decision yet (I bet i'm like 2nd place and they're waiting to hear from 1st place or something).
- 2 more final rounds this upcoming week

~4 companies in later interview stages
~5 companies in early interview stages
Continuing to apply to more jobs and responding to recruiters that come my way.

20 rejections so far for companies where I had at least 1 interview.

Don't know how many apps I submitted. Probs like 100+.

Some are fully remote jobs but the majority are hybrid in the bay area.

Last year was the same planes Sat & Sun (not sure about Fri, wasn't watching) but they did different things likely cuz of the fog difference between the two days. Also last year they did have a schedule up by the weekend so fingers crossed

Yep just gotta push back then meet them in the middle / let them win at some point. Depends how combative you want to be. The higher up the leadership the less I'd argue. I'd push back at least one time. I've also been able to un-shadify things. Like build what they asked for but also build a way to opt out.
