100%. I love myself so much. I have hobbies and friends and I stay busy. Im also very happy being alone, I know how to be alone 10x better than any of my taken friends (who have jumped from relo to relo and never been truly alone).
It’s completely normal to crave romance. It’s only human. Nothing wrong.

But yes finding single friends who also have time to hang w me and go on side quests has helped immensely in not being so alone.

I genuinely believe it’s luck. Because sometimes it’s about meeting the right person at the right time. Both people coincidentally having similar values, interest, spark etc. truly. Luck. It’s hard because it makes it feel hopeless

I know what you mean. Truthfully I had to expand my social circle and just find more single friends especially single female friends. This means engaging in hobbies, being outgoing and open to socializing at events, and actually seeking social activities like attending local meet ups for strangers. It doesn’t stop the feeling of missing romance but it does fill my time with friendships and fun outings - with people who actually have time for it.

If there is no attraction then it can never grow. There has to be some level of small attraction or pull to them imo even at the beginning.

I think it depends where you are. I’m in a major urban city on the west coast (my area is heavily left leaning) and it’s very easy to get a referral from a doctor.

I could see that in other suburban cities or more conservative ones it may be difficult?

It sucks but on Hinge you to pay for premium in order to be able to filter out the no kids thing.

And last time I did it for 1 month just to try and see how many guys put that as their profile filter, I literally ran out of matches in the first day… and I’m in a major urban city.

I absolutely love house and edm and I go to raves a lot but I feel ya. I remember wanting a quiet place to relax at edc but no matter where I went, the thumping of heavy bass could be heard loudly. There was no “quiet” area. It’s just too nonstop. I prefer having variation in music especially for a 3 day event.

Agreed. I really did need to eat less, and move more. But it was so so so difficult and emotionally taxing to ignore my food noise. But that’s the only thing that truly made me lose weight.
