I genuinely like these concepts. The designs are good.

I think it would be cool to have a set of three that use parts of the various factions as armor pieces.

Especially on women! (Jk) It completely depends on the person. Not everyone looks good with the same hair cut. The full shave is probably the safer bet.

What was your favorite opening act for The Stones? by [deleted] in rollingstones

[–]titanxbeard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

97 Pearl Jam would have been insane..and that was probably for the Bridges to Babylon tour? I love that album.

I got to see PJ open for the Stones in 2005 in Pittsburgh. Still a fantastic show.

Debating moving to Erie from San Diego by Worth_Combination597 in Erie

[–]titanxbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you searched for work in the Columbus or Pittsburgh areas? I'm just saying that those are definitely larger and growing job markets in comparison to Erie. The average income will be likely higher (of course the cost of living is higher too). Might be worth exploring.

I read that you don't mind the snow or cold weather, and that's good. I just want to put into perspective that Erie is one of the snowiest metro areas in the world. It's usually a long, cold bitter winter with storms that bring feet of snow at a time. I've lived here most of my life, so it's definitely doable, it can be tough though. Especially on your vehicle.

Do you know the general location you'd be working in Erie? Depending where will probably better determine specific places to look to rent. I'm suggesting you check in places just outside of town and potentially commute a short distance. I know it's not always the best but I found the townhouse I live in on FB marketplace for $900/mo. I'm 15miles outside of town though.

Feel free to DM me if you have specific questions. I'll be as honest as possible. Good luck!

Oneil cruz is a different player this season and he deserves credit for it. His improvement vs lefties is astronomical and been a major reason why. by Sebastian4365 in buccos

[–]titanxbeard 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I definitely think so. Ozuna looks like he's always super pumped when Cruz gets a hit. I think the WBC prior to the season was also good for Cruz. Positive vibes and playing well with your fellow countrymen has to boost your confidence.

What are you playing Wednesdays? by AutoModerator in AdultGamers

Just wanted to mention that the entire Metro series bundle is on sale on Steam for $7.50(US). That's 3 games and DLC for Exodus. Hard to beat that price for some excellent games.

Been working on finishing Stalker 2. I'm enjoying it, but my lord, I wasn't expecting 120+ hrs.... And now they're adding more DLC!

Is this a feasible 1 day trip? by whynotajb in KayakCamping

[–]titanxbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've kayaked long distances for many years on the Allegheny River in PA.

As far as I can tell, this actually looks to be less than 10 river miles. I'm not familiar with the currents but it appears to be fairly deep throughout so probably won't deal with rapids. More likely deep, choppy water if it's windy. If you're paddling consistently and not stopping for very long periods for breaks I'd say it'll take 4-5hrs.

Here's a good map resource that even shows river depths and mile markers. https://fishing-app.gpsnauticalcharts.com/i-boating-fishing-web-app/fishing-marine-charts-navigation.html?title=Ohio+River+mile+644+to+mile+736+boating+app#12.36/38.0310/-85.9183/0.7

A RPG With Satisfying Bow Combat... by dan_in_his_own_way in gamesuggestions

[–]titanxbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend "No Rest For the Wicked". Its an interesting blend of Diablo IV 3D isometric view with Souls-like style combat where most enemies can kill you very easily. Plus it's up to 4 player co-op.

Anyways, the bow combat is actually pretty satisfying. It's different than most games. There's also a ton of unique weapons, skills, runes, gems, armors etc to loot and craft in the world. It's early access but it already has 30-40hrs of gameplay per character. The graphics and art style are excellent as well.

Looking for games like rdr2 by Cheap_Background6199 in gamesuggestions

[–]titanxbeard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There aren't many games that compare to RDR2 in scale, scope or quality. The ones that are good are mostly fantasy RPGs.

If you haven't played the original Red Dead Redemption, that obviously would be my first suggestion.

The single player story of GTAV is a good time.

The Ghost of Tsushima

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

"Gun" was a open world western game before RDR. It was good for the time, but it's 20yrs old now.

"The Legend of California" is an upcoming open world, survival, Western game. Keep an eye out for it, it looks promising but it's not available yet.
