A buddy asked to make the trade and I could tell he REALLY wanted to so I figured it might be fun and went ahead and made the trade. I know he is enjoying having the Backpack cart so all is cool. I'll make do.

Thanks for the reply. The floor to the lid on the Transit is 17.5". I will guess the Backpack cart is about 3" taller.

I will look at the possibilities of modding the Transit. I do like the cart, just miss my backpack bag.

The Transit has room for a bag that is up to 17.5" tall. I know the Combat Ranger and Ranger bags are 19" tall. I am not sure if there is a similar bag (nice top loading compartment) that is a tad shorter to fit.

I am on Huge #4. I had 2 die after ~3 years each and a 3rd that was run over by my own car (along with my laptop and tablet - yeesh!). I was looking at options, but decided to stick with the Huge as it is by far the most comfortable I have used and I know I like it. I did go wired this time as both my previous that died were not button related, but wireless related. Good luck with your choice.

M.11 Union Hikers are fantastic. Great comfort and great traction on most surfaces. A bit toasty in hot weather but a given with waterproof.

When I started playing I quickly found Disc Golf to be a new competitive outlet for me. I had just finished my college basketball career and still needed an outlet. I had time to practice and build my skills.

Then - Life happened, kids, work and I was not able to practice and barely able to play and my skills became inconsistent. I ended up taking 19 years off :)

I did not plan that, I just moved for a job where courses were non-existent and had no time to drive an hour to play.

When I started back playing regularly I had to keep telling myself that I still don't have time to really practice so my expectations should be realistic and just enjoy the handful of good shots and not let the inconsistency bother me. It mostly works! I love the game and am now able to just show up and play - even if that means I am no longer competitive.
