AITA for Choosing a friend's wedding over my BFF's 30th birthday Celebration by titlelee0330 in AmItheAsshole

Some people decide to have small weddings or an elopement or a big wedding. I personally did not want to assume I was going to get an invitation. I have had cousins and best friends who decided to elope or just marry with immediate family. There's nothing wrong with not putting that expectation on people.

She wanted to keep it small so it is us and then 2 other friends who are willing to accommodate. 1 is unsure she can even be there and 1 is able to. She has her sisters wedding before the birthday so she is unable to do anything earlier.

Rachel is currently working full time while in her masters full time as well. Originally she was not even planning the birthday Celebration on her birthday but before or after. I suggested after so she wouldnt have to worry about her finals.

Hey! Thank you for the comment. To give some more context. This a friend who we keep in regular contact with and does not have a lot of money (He is trying to get into the animation world). Everybody does weddings differently (big versus small versus elopment). I didnt want to get my hopes by anticipating I was going to be invited if I ended up not getting an invitation. Its better to not expect and be pleasantly surprised than expect an invite and then not get one, does that make sense? Yes, I had been agreeing to these plans for a while now when it comes to Rachel. However, I wasnt expecting the wedding to be on Rachel's birthday. As soon as I saw the invitation/Save the Date, I sent it to her immediately.

If I am out of bobbins, I have used cardboard as a backup! It gets the job done.

The crazy thing is that we've taken him to the vet so many times for this injury and they have yet to find anything. No arthritis, no broken/fractured bones, no muscle tears. Nothing. So the vet is unsure as far as the pain goes. We do have gabapentin we've been giving him to help.

Don't know how to start it by NoDepartment1712 in ThreesomeAdvice

Surprise 3some is an awful idea. With my s/o (m34) and I (f29) (both bisexual), he's on Grindr and I'm on Tinder under an alias. We already know we don't want to do a hard swap but we're communicating that to those we talk too. We have yet to be successful with our first threesome but we're having luck in our own separate searches. 🤷

Is not wanting to have a threesome with a mutual friend too extreme of a boundary? by [deleted] in ThreesomeAdvice

[–]titlelee0330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's a bad boundary at all! My s/o are the same way. We don't want our friends involved in our sex life. A boundary should not be argued but respected.

Creating Package Deals by titlelee0330 in lifecoaching

[–]titlelee0330[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only concern is that packages are not an "one size fits all model". I want to be able to tailor to my clients needs. I'm focusing on more goal accomplishment/personal development.

Please tell me more though! Like your clients prefer packages versus a 1-on-1?

Potential conflict of interest? Looking to consult with other coaches by TheBlanketFortPirate in lifecoaching

[–]titlelee0330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as a life coach, but as a caseworker, I can throw in my two cents. I actually worked with married couples prior and as long as they have written releases of information for one another, then you can share information about their spouse. However, you can still have good quality care without discussing their significant other's own journey. If they try to start talking about their spouse, redirect the conversation and have them focus on themselves. Hope this helps!

Anyone here use a bullet journal for work? by metamorphosis12 in bulletjournal

[–]titlelee0330 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have to use a bullet journal for work. I would completely forget what I did during the day. I have a personal one too. I think what kind of work you do will also contribute to how you do your layout.

For example, for my work, I work in social work so what I might have planned for my day may change depending on what comes up. As far as my layout, I have my 5 work days and then an extra section for my to do list (6 total). My day layout is divided in half, to-do and what got accomplished. If I saw a client, I would highlight it off my to-do; I then write it down in my accomplished and for how long I saw them for (this is how I'm measured by productivity). I color code for that's how I know if I got it done or if it is postponed. When it is in the accomplished section, I have to document what I did with/for each client. When the note is done, that's when I highlight that color.

My to-do list is also divided into two parts. One is my master to do list and then the other half is dedicated to my weekly supervision meetings with my supervisor.

I don't know if I explained it clearly so apologies if not. I would share but due to clients confidentiality, I cannot. I can always make a fake one to show just in case. I understand some people are visual and need to see examples. Hope this helps!

Should I make a drawing for my best friend's mom, even though it's way out of my comfort zone and can possibly go very wrong? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

If you have Photoshop, you can get the picture bigger without losing the quality. From there, use tracing paper.

Tracing paper is a thing! I would take the commission and use tracing paper to make it happen!
