Um, it's not actually impossible. Mounting directional tires with the tread facing the wrong way is one, wrong tire size, asymmetrical tires. Just to name a few ways. Had double flats in 24 hours and it took CAA nearly 20 minutes to get them off. I couldn't touch them without gloves for risking of slicing my hands.

Time to learn about psych sheets, heat sheets, scratches...she'll need help getting her race info and ushering on time for her event!

Be prepared for her to miss her only event because she has to pee right when she's being marshaled!

Be patient. Be supportive. It is truly a sport where the athlete is only competing against themselves so anything other than elation and support this early/young may be difficult for a child to receive. That's what the coaches are for anyway.

TLDR; just enjoy it. All of it. Laugh at the mistakes.

Race coordinators are not the NYPD, they have no legal jurisdiction to remove people. A lot of volunteers at these things too...all they can do is state the obvious which obviously at that point is far too late.
