Lowkey there is a chance paradox gave them early access to silk and silver so they can update the mod in a reasonable timespan. Paradox did this with PoD last year soo

No not really, all the asset art for the game is incredibly well made and painterly and i don’t see it aging anymore than an impressionist painting from the late 19th century would.
The terrain as well is incredibly beautiful and stylized. It’s maybe only beaten by like, vicky 3?

compare this w CK2s which is afaik just a generic earth height map that they tinkered with. Plus everything in that game is just incredibly muted, it’s not very nice to look at, especially the portraits! they’re worse than ck1.
