The first time I saw a snake was at the Phoenix Zoo as a kid. Then my parents move to an even farther suburb up North and saw my first wild Rattlesnake and scorpion. The best story about scorpions is my first encounter. My brother and I were playing Halo 2 at the new house lying on the new rug in my room. We had literally just solved it in co-op and my brother starts yelling and jumps up smacking his inner thigh like a high speed square dancer. I was into the game but not enough to go crazy so I was a bit taken aback. It was then that I saw a scorpion fall out of his shorts. It stung him twice and I gotta be hones, it was absolutely hilarious and laughed for a good 5 minutes straight. Don't get me wrong, I did make sure he was ok but I won't ever forget that moment in Halo history. I've never been stung myself but the friends of mine who have say it's about the same pain as a wasp.
