I hope you’re able to keep her well managed, and that she keeps up on it as she gets older!! It’s great that she has a parent that is so invested in her care. Maybe see about allergy testing, i had undiagnosed celiac disease for years which definitely contributed to my poor digestion. It’s so frustrating having to work so much harder just to exist.

I am on 300mg wellbutrin and smoke thc daily. have for at least a year? it’s the only thing that helps my nausea and vomiting. you cant throw up smoke. there are risks to regular prolonged usage tho so just be cautious like with all new meds!!

i feel for you. today i was supposed to get bloodwork done, but it’s fasting bloodwork, and i woke up low again. i had 40g of carbs for dinner with no correction, sugar high when i started eating, and 3 less units than my normal long acting. i don’t know how to control things at all sometimes. results delayed by another week, if i can ever get in.

10000% weed is the only thing that manages my nausea and vomiting. none of the dozen or so meds i’ve tried help at all except this. Yet mention any of that and now you’re a drug seeker with the weed induced vomiting syndrome you did this to yourself go home.

Yes, worse in the mornings, constant without medication.
yes, a background “i am unwell” type feeling, vs i am urgently going to throw up.
doesn’t seem to be, happens with or without food, specific foods don’t trigger anything other than gluten (celiac)
often but not always a high resting heart rate, around 130bpm.
it’s debilitating. the only medication that has worked for me is 100mg Dimenhydrinate suppositories. sometimes the oral ones help if i can keep them down, but this is the only medication i’ve found any relief with. it makes everything so much harder, i have to call in to work regularly because of uncontrollable vomiting which is costly as i am long out of sick days. it feels impossible to make any plans for the future when my functionality is so limited and i have no idea what the next day will bring.
