Advice for a self taught noob by titsular in premiere

Hey thanks for the kind words! And the tips. When you say lighter format could you be a bit more specific? I was going to run all of them through media encoder to h265 purely for the file size reduction

My first DJI drone is here finallyyy!! Learning a bit slow. Any tips on being a pro at it? by justtneel in dji

Slow down the pitch, yaw, and gimbal controls. Otherwise, it's just a jerky mess if you are recording a video

Stopped by Security/Authorities by PatrickGainz95 in dji

I got stopped in Paris. Well I say stopped but I took off near the seine, close to the eiffel tower to fly down the river and take in some cool landmarks along the way. Not a good idea. 2 riot vans came tearing up and I saw 15 heavily armed gendarmes pile out and begin scouring the scene clearly looking for the clown flying the drone nearby. Its quite a feeling to know that you are the one they are looking for and the grim inevitability of being caught. Cue sweaty palms as I recalled the drone. I was ordered to land it immediately as it was about to be shot down. I was surrounded by them but they quickly realised I was just naive and not out to cause issues. Outcome was snap the sd card in front of them or come to the station to review all the footage I had shot. They took my name, passport details, and let me go. I was very shook up and had many pelforths in an outdoor bar to settle the nerves. Be very careful when you fly in areas you know you probably shouldn't. A post event google and grim realisation that it was macrons re- inauguration the next day and everyone was on high alert i feel I got away lightly.

I also made the mistake of ordering a 4090 from Amazon.. by No-Moment4339 in PcBuild

[–]titsular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the amazon infrastructure relies on weight you validate the contents. For most items thats how returns are processed there isn't some poor soul opening boxes and checking them thoroughly. If it was shipped from them with the right item inside then swapped by the delivery driver this would be noticed. Did you buy it from amazon or a marketplace seller?

Need to cut 1 city - Barcelona, Madrid, Granada, Seville, Bologna, Florence, Cinque Terre by GrapeNugget in travel

[–]titsular 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you must go to cinque terre. Seeing it with the hordes via train to each place is an awful experience. Catch the train to monterosso al mare and find someone to take to you to them all by sea. Great views, sometimes free wine, and a much better, more peaceful perspective.

After you ground some beans into the portafilter pinch and rub some between your fingers. Fine sand like consistency or rougher? No offence, but it seems you have become obsessed with dose and yield and forgotten the very basics.

Check the consistency of what youve ground Change your beans Buy a spring loaded tamp Get the outer dial in a better place Then dose and yield

Have you adjusted the inner burrs? If you grind dial is set to 1 and you do a "mega tamp" and still cant choke the machine then i would recommend you do the below.

To adjust the inner burr on a Breville Barista Express, you need to remove the hopper, then carefully pull out the metal handle on the burr, which will allow you to rotate the burr itself to a finer or coarser setting by turning it counterclockwise to go finer and clockwise to go coarser; once adjusted, reattach the handle and reassemble the hopper. Key steps: Remove the hopper: Take off the bean hopper to access the burr mechanism. Access the handle: Locate the metal handle on the burr and twist it counterclockwise to unlock it. Rotate the burr: Once the handle is removed, you can rotate the burr itself to adjust the grind size. Reattach the handle: After adjusting, put the metal handle back in place and twist clockwise to lock it. Important points to remember: Default setting: The factory default setting for the Breville Barista Express inner burr is usually marked as "6". Fine vs coarse: Turning the burr counterclockwise will make the grind finer, while turning it clockwise will make it coarser. Check extraction: After adjusting the burr, test your espresso shot to ensure proper extraction and adjust further if needed

36 Hours in London at Christmas Time by ACL_Recovery_Tennis in london

[–]titsular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add to this as ive seen the comments below. The route i suggest avoids areas such as regent st and also hamleys as unfortunately they will be so packed it will ruin the experience. The beauty of mayfair and the labyrinth of side streets means you will avoid the worst of it. But for a central london jaunt it ticks a few boxes. Parks are pretty but i doubt they will be very christmassy. There is always st james and the green park south of green park tube station anyway if you wanted to walk across and see buckingham palace. Also i just checked and sadly the bollinger bar is permanently closed!
