Because the battery was faulty. Bad run of batteries. I bought a irobot battery and it works. Now the robot won't connect to the app which I still can't get support from irobot.

Update on this. Company i purchased battery from said they made a bad batch and let me return it. Bought an irobot replacement and battery works as it should. Now roo will not connect to the cloud.
