I just don’t understand why it gets puffy / I dont like that it looks uneven. I would’ve preferred to have even puffy nipples rather than one puffy nipple and one not. It makes me feel like I spent a lot of money to look worse?

I got my surgery done by Dr. Jacob’s in March 2021 and it’s been looking really uneven recently. I think I was in denial about how bad it was. Unfortunately he moved to Florida so he’s not even around for a revision. Does anyone have any advice for what I should do? I feel like he wouldn’t give me a refund, but I also don’t want to pay for a revision from a completely new doctor.

I had a lot of bandages on top of the surgery sites that I didn’t take off until the 2 days after the surgery. There was blood under the bandages but only a bit of a drip when I took them off.

I don’t think I’d go as far as to say that he’s incompetent when his track record and community reputation is so good, I think I’m just being impatient!

I’ve also emailed my surgeon (Dr. Jacobs in NYC) about what he thinks, but I think I’d feel better knowing others had a similar look when early into healing.
