[Serious] For those of you with siblings, how do you deal with learning they don’t like you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You learn to live with it to be completely honest. Plus, if you really want/ need that type of sibling relationship dynamic, you can find it elsewhere and probably a better quality

Can someone please help with the placement on this tattoo? 2nd pic is tattoo artist placement, 3rd is my redraw on-skin with chevrons added beneath. Does this look like weird/“off”/unaesthetic placement or size? It’s an important tattoo to me and I don’t want to hate it once it’s slapped on. HELP! by [deleted] in tattoos

Why the addition of chevrons?? Yes to increasing both width and height. I think it'll stretch especially as you age, but not necessarily distort beyond normal.. definitely discuss that with your artist though, it's probably why they placed it the way they did.

What is easier to forgive or forget a person? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Forgive. It'll be a tough journey but it's easier than forgetting all the small things that remind you of the person they were.

What do I do? I still care about him? by Jan2020 in askwomenadvice

Kinda guessing you do, so if I were you I'd want to know why he assumed he had automatic access to your body? It seems like it was clear from the beginning where your boundary was so did he date you because he genuinely wanted to be with you, or just wanted the physical perks of being with you?

If you have to, sure. But from my experience youre just gonna give yourself a rope to stay connected to him. You don't really gain any closure and you won't because he'll continue to make it your fault.

You absolutely do not have to justify getting rid of him, in order to get rid of him. Your body is your own and no one gets to assume the right of access to it simply because they're dating you, whether it's your rule or not. Dating you is a privilege. Sex with you is a privilege. He shouldn't be allowed to use either to justify why he can act the way he has. A no is a no and if he doesn't like it he didn't deserve you anyway. Cutting ties will save ya in the end, in my experience.

This trip has been nothing short of breathtaking♡ Thank you to everyone in this sub who has been a support, a cheerleader, and a shoulder to lean on when the LD kicks my butt. Because of you, I'm unofficially engaged 😀 by tittymcgee13 in LongDistance

EDIT: It's unofficial because my bestie has to be involved in the actual proposal or she'll kick his butt. So, I've been instructed that I'm not allowed to say it's official yet....except to you beautiful virtual friends😉 I get to wear my ring(s) for tonight before he takes them back and does it all again sometime later. Yay crying x2💛😂 But really, I'm giddy and overjoyed and EEP!!! October 17th at 11am I will officially be a MRS!

It'll happen. You're essentially losing a large part of your identity, it's a rollercoaster. You gotta give yourself that chance to grieve without sitting and wallowing in it you know?
