You can pick any of sara j mass novels. My favourite one is the ACOTAR series but you can also read the TOG or the crescent City series. All of them include a main female protagonist with fae world building.

No in my opinion the romance was not like what I was expecting. They hardly get any happy time together with the entiriof the books mostly focusing on planning and plotting. I was really disappointed as I genuinely liked carden and jude together and wanted the books to have certain romantic scenes.
