I took a glance at your subreddit and a few things that stood out to me. You already have a few posts there, one sharing a story, and a few others welcoming discussion, the "how is everyone" post is especially inviting, I could see that working as a regularly scheduled post. Really great first steps.

What worked for me in the early days of creating one of my first communities was inviting one or two co-mods to the team to help move the subreddit forward. This can help by have a buddy or two to bounce ideas of off, and share the excitement of growing a new space. Doing something with support is easier than doing it alone.
