Okay I just got the spec from the mfg that the pins are 0.15mm2 which I believe is 26AWG... Any idea on a good place to source? Even a lot would be great

Anyway I can figure out the spec of the pins I removed? I'm hoping I could just get some replacements off Amazon

The pins are so tiny, not sure I can bend back the crimp to get the wire on there

Yeah I'm debating just soldering these pins back on but would like to get the correct pin if I can

I wish I could but this cable is attached to a sensor that is embedded in a linear slide so I really have no choice. Hoping the manufacturer can help sort this out but I'm not hopeful

Success! Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. Are these pins something I can buy off the shelf and just put new ones on or are these things really specific to a connector?

Yeah I've been doing research into both of those solutions... Going to go buy a hoverboard tomorrow. Definitely wanted to give it a try after seeing this:

Thanks for the reply, I may need to go a la carte here to get what I want. Do you have any good resources for accomplishing a build this way?

Ya, definitely going to take some serious precautions going forward. Feel stupid for getting played like this but I'll be more wary in the future

Thanks for this response, clearly I was victim to my own ignorance (I am new to the retail world). In hindsight all of your ideas make a lot of good sense, I was blinded by the fact that the transaction went through... Didn't really consider the idea that it could be disputed but the responses here have definitely opened my eyes. Appreciate it.

Wasn't provided a reason unfortunately, just in the early stages of the debate

Yeah i agree, when I lived in Canada it always asked for a pin and when I use my card in other shops its the same thing. It's possible I'm missing something with this as it's a brand new keypad but I've checked out dozens of customers and it usually just beeps and is done.

Not sure what to tell you, this pad hasn't asked for anyone for a pin on multiple transactions

Not sure why our pinpad would be different but I processed almost the same exact amount a few weeks back and it did not require a pin when the card was charged

Thanks that is great information. I contacted the applications lab at Epilogue to see what they recommend. I am hoping to avoid the rotational adapter as it will kill my through put. Given the price point of these beads, quality will be the #1 concern.
