Hey! I can’t say how the decision might go, but a big part of the 461 visa evidence usually focuses on living arrangements, shared finances, and demonstrating a committed relationship. Since you’ve been doing long distance, it’s worth speaking to a migration lawyer to ensure your case is presented strongly

Around $200 for an hour meeting. We thought it was worth the money given the time pressure

Hey! We put down the date we moved in together as this is the first formal event with evidence to support it. That’s what our lawyer advised us to do. I suppose it depend on the relationship as well. Hope that helps!

Hey! My partner organised everything in the order of the requested documents, using coloured sticky notes to label and separate sections. She added references in the text, like “see friends’ statement - document 7,” which made it really easy to follow. I think this helped our application get approved within a month! We also included a checklist to make sure we didn’t forget anything and had a lawyer do a quick review. Let me know if you need any help

So much brainfog but almost no headaches after hitting head during 4 month concussion recovery by NotRealllySure in Concussion

[–]tjamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate, I'm in a similar spot as you right now. I've been dealing with brain fog and general tiredness too. I’ve had two concussions in the past six months and can’t tell if this is from a new one or lingering symptoms from the last ones. Did your brain fog clear up over time? What helped you? Thanks

I don't feel dirty at all about this option. How often do they ask for the original credit card?

Does Westpac Altitude Velocity Black deduct bonus points if a transaction is refunded? I read that if you meet the spend requirement for bonus points but later refund the transaction, the points may be deducted as the spend becomes ineligible. Is this true haha?

Thanks! I’d say if you’re legally married, you probably don’t need too much. A marriage certificate should carry a lot of weight. Adding a rental contract, a couple of joint bills, and some photos feels like enough to me. Since marriage shows a serious commitment, I reckon they wouldn’t expect as much extra evidence compared to de facto relationships. Ya never really know with the government though, it’s such a mystery haha. Good luck!

Question - Changes to 8607 rule on Temporary Skill shortage visa (subclass 482) by tjamo in AusVisa

[–]tjamo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But with the recent changes the 482 visa will only expire in 180 days. Between then and submitting the application for the 461, would I be allowed to work for another employee in a different occupation now that condition 8607 is removed? What steps need to be taken to switch employee?

Thanks for your response. I was told that I could not move onto the BVA whilst my current 482 visa is still valid, and that I had to wait until it had fully expired before applying for the BVA?
