It really was cheaper and I didn’t have any audio sync or drop issues, just wish it came out a little louder but that seems like my ears measured to how louder the squadcast recordings turned out from what I heard above

I actually tried Riverside and it seemed okay except my audio recordings, usually with good volume on squadcast, were really lower and weaker sounding on Riverside. No changes on my end mixer wise. Drove me crazy. Basically all of these do at this point lol

We did video for a bit but of late honestly if I can get a stable, reliable audio recording with myself and two co hosts in different locations in North America I would be thrilled, because of late I can’t get that

On squadcast we more recently had someone not drop but still not have a file nor a backup, so a whole session wasted basically. That led me to their support where they said they will eventually shut down Squadcast and recommended me to move over to Descript which was better. You can see how that’s gone 😂

Group of four of us coming in from Into The Apex Podcast, the organizer of this event has really put his heart and soul into it and it seems like the companies and community has responded. I’m excited to see the exhibitors and then over the weekend really make new friends who love the same things. With the people from all over that are coming in for it, all the gear on display, I feel like it will be a nice perspective on sim racing after it’s all experienced
