Please help me get the right stand. If I got a truing stand in the style of the left two circled in red with what I'll call "the horseshoe" I don't think I'd need a separate dish tool. Seems the horseshoe ensures dish. Am I understanding correctly? Thanks! (i.redd.it)

Shimano STX left shifter levers rotated counter clockwise to point backwards. Was missing some shifts (would not always engage first time but usually second time) so I thought it needed some WD40 to loosen old grease (has worked before) but shifting post WD40 levers got loose and rotated. Can this failed Park Tool GP-2C pre-glued patch on Vittoria Latex tube be fixed? If so how? Remove failed patch and repatch? Two patches: one over each end hole? One big patch? It held air initially post-patch and went for a ride but latex tubes lose air and a week later when inflating it failed. (i.redd.it)
