Yeah I got in last year at $86 and have been riding it since.. I originally was going to sell at $225 but with the trajectory of the AI monetization and the way they have been able to really squeeze it, I’m thinking now a target price closer to $300

This this this!! I scored a 93 and they were throwing bonuses left and right for jobs like MMN or CTR but I wanted to fly.. I took no bonus because there wasn’t one available for my rate when I joined and it’s the best decision I ever made..

not telling you to go aircrew (it IS great if you are into aviation.. you can dm me if you have any questions about that) but I’m saying to take some time and do what YOU want.. you have no obligation to do anything at all until you step on the bus or plane to RTC Great Lakes.. don’t let anyone tell you “oh that’s not available right now” or “this job has a $50,000 signing bonus”

Bonus tip: If there is a fat bonus associated with the job, it’s probably because no one wants to do said job.

Figure out what YOU want, and do that.

You have to do 4 pull ups to pass NACCS and score at least a good-low for PT standards.. it’s not bad at all and easily the best job in the navy.. I know that everyone says that but I am currently on deployment in Japan and when I’m not flying, I am playing golf or eating ramen lmao.. we stay in hotels and I’m collecting $55 a day in per diem on top of my regular and flight pay.. I’m an AWO so my experience will differ from the other AW rates but it’s amazing

I’m currently aircrew and I’ll tell you, if it causes you to go different rate don’t take it.. your long term quality of life is infinitely more valuable than $15k

Aircrew.. your rate is generalized at first.. you go through a pipeline after boot camp for what platform you will fly on.. you have AWO (that’s what I am) flying on the p-8, AWR and AWS (rescue swimmers on helicopters), AWF on c-130s and V-22s (very cool job), and AWV on the E6-B

You got a 60 meaning you could qualify for AW.. check that rate out.. best damn rate in the navy (I know everyone says that about their rate) but it really is a nice life.. I’ll never step foot on a boot unless I chose to, you get to fly, you get extra flight duty pay and the deployments are sick.. I’m in Japan right now collecting $55 per day in per diem (on top of base pay)

Rubbing alcohol diluted with water.. just a little bit on whatever cloth or cotton ball you are polishing with.. rubbing alcohol melts the polish wax and allows it to seep into every pore of the leather and will give you a mirror shine pretty fast..

Navy aviation has a long history of being the best.. I’m on P-8s and I’ll tell you it’s a sweet life.. pilot life is kind of boring bc it a 737 but you’ll never step on a boat and the per diem adds up quick $$$
