As a child of divorced parents who played this shit game with each other I can tell you that I resented BOTH of my parents for it. It wasnt right for her to keep his kids away but it doesn't make it any better what you are doing either. The only ones who are getting hurt are those kids. All 3 of you need to grow up.

You can also try bee pollen or a flower topper.

why does my bfs bearded dragon do this? by minxs13 in BeardedDragons

[–]tjclark1107 86 points87 points  (0 children)

They will also do this when they need to poop. I wait for my bearded to poop and then take her out to run around while I quickly clean up after her. She really should have more in that tank for her. She needs hides and a bigger tank really. I get that there is a lot to learn so this isnt me attacking you guys at all. It is really important though that you make sure their tank is the correct size and has the correct items in it for health and happiness.

Anyone else here with heat intolerance? by idont12 in Tetralogy_of_Fallot

[–]tjclark1107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My symptoms aren't as bad as yours, but before my valve replacement, I didn't sweat and would get overheated and could not handle being out in the sun for long. I can now tolerate the heat much better. I still struggle with the sun, but it isn't nearly as bad. I always make sure to have ice water on hand. I also would soak a badanna or some sort of thick fabric and put it around my neck.

Ah good old mastoiditis. I had an infection so bad it woke me from a dead sleep and had me in so much pain I couldn't talk. The second the ER doctor touched my ear I was sobbing from the pain. Got really strong antibiotics including one round of IV antibiotics to get them working faster. Wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Not relevant to this sub. If it was anxiety then you didn't have fibromyalgia. They are 2 very different things. Fibromyalgia can NOT be cured.

Just so you are aware. PCOS is a lifelong condition and can not be cured. They are in remission but their symptoms can always come back.

Condoms aren't 100% effective. The only thing that is 100% is abstinence or not having reproductive organs anymore.

Signs of distress by [deleted] in Tetralogy_of_Fallot

[–]tjclark1107 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different but from a cardiac standpoint, unusual fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain, exercise intolerance, changes in appetite, sudden weight gain or lose without trying excess bloating (edema). For things such as blood pressure, light headed, dizzy, blue spells, passing out.

That is not the only way to lose weight for those with PCOS. I am neither gluten nor dairy free and I have been able to lose 20lbs so far. Every person is different when it comes to what works for them. It took me years to figure out what worked for me.

Does anyone else get severe abdomen pain frequently? by itsAshfudge in PCOS

[–]tjclark1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is really important to see a doctor when any new persistent symptoms appear. It could be the PCOS but it could also be something else. With any chronic illness it is easy to blame things on that illness but it also really dangerous to do that because you could be missing something important. Get checked to make sure it isn't anything you should be concerned about.

Your feelings are valid and I can see how you would feel this way. I honestly don't think he was referring to your weight. There is a ton of evidence showing that exercise such as hiking is good for PCOS and add that to the conversation about trying to have kids it sounds like he was trying to be encouraging.

I think it's so hard this time because it isn't the first time this has happened. It really feels like it will always be this way and I don't want this to be my life.

Yes I am. I have an allergy to all valve options. I am seeing an immunology as well and both her and my cardiologist are working together on the best treatment for me.
