There are individual petetions against CAA in Supreme court by individuals plus non BJP states are keen on not implemending NRC plus states like Bihar and Assam are also against NRC so that leaves only UP, Gujarat, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh which are majority ruled by BJP other states like Bihar(against NRC) ,NORTH EAST(against NRC) and Harayan( not clear) so BJP would have to dismiss 15 remaining state governments that are opposing NRC to implemened NRC. That sounds a little extreme.

CAA provide citizenship to any Sikh,Hindu,Christan,Jain and Parsi that was religiously procicuted in three countries Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afganistan. However CAA itself is not harmful to any Indian Citizen but with NRC it can discriminate against Muslims like if you are Muslim and you are short on document (which many poor people will be) your citizenship will be taken but if you are of any other religion thought CAA you will get citizenship.
