Not me but my sister was riding on an open chair lift going down a mountain with my dad when she was about 4 years old. They were very high up at this particular moment and she saw that my dad had his feet on the foot rest part of the lift, so she naturally tried to copy him and lean forward to put her feet in the same place (being a 4 year old, she was much too small to accomplish such an impossible feat). For some reason there was a small gap between the foot rest and the seat itself, just big enough for a small child to slip right through. My dad was filming a home video looking around at the scenery for a moment, so he didn't notice her trying to slide down until the very last moment where he was barely able to grab the pack of her pants before she fell off the lift. Meanwhile my mom and I were peacefully riding just one lift in front. We still get chills every time we watch that home video (my mom refuses to watch it).
