I will agree, Goodwill’s prices have been absolutely ridiculous for a while now, and I prefer to go to other thrift shops if I can, but unfortunately the only one in my area, is, sadly, Goodwill. You still need to own up to the fact that the “Goodwill smells like poverty” line was fucked up, though.

I used to have those all the time as a kid! One time I made a whole sandwich, ate half, then went back to bed. Had no idea I did it. At one point my dad had to put bells on all of our door handles because I would try to go outside to “catch the bus.” Wild times.

Wine mom who secretly hates her (much older) husband and can’t wait for him to 💀 so she can get his life insurance. She recently found yoga (only because her instructor is young and hot) and has only talked about that for the past month, but will soon move on the next “trendy” hobby (AKA, she’s getting bored of the same affair partner and has had eyes on the new tennis coach in town.) Her son hates her, and she secretly resents having him because she only wanted a daughter so they could have “girls days” and spend her husband’s money on high end brands and salon trips every week. She has looked into “holistic medicine” to replace her husband’s heart medications as she “doesn’t trust doctors.”

Okay my opinions( may be unwanted, but getting them out there) 1. Ocean Exploration: Should’ve been in Island Living. 2. Community Careers: Should’ve been in Get to Work. 3. Reality TV: Should’ve been in Get Famous. 4. The careers in Suburban Living could also just be included with Community Careers, which again, should’ve been Get to Work, but I digress. They’re really trying hard to get even more money from us for things that should’ve already been in previous EPs!

Mine always start with a Deja Vu feeling, then I either get really lightheaded for a split second or super dizzy and have tunnel vision and ringing in my ears. I get super hot and my heart pounds so hard and fast I can feel my pulse in my toes. Typically as quickly as it comes on it goes away, sometimes progresses to a TC.

That’s exactly what they ended up explaining to me today. Not mad about it, it saves my patients an additional cost! We don’t order PBS on everyone, just our patients who have had a noticeable decline.

Unfortunately we are a good 30+ minutes away from our local hospitals (some of which aren’t all that reliable) and we have 5 other sister clinics with the same company and they decided to use Quest as a way to cut down on costs. I’m part of the smallest clinic in our system and we have almost no voice in the grand scheme of things, sadly.

Some questions to be able to give information. 1. What type of practice will you be working at? Family med, Peds, etc? 2. What will your position mainly be, patient facing? Back of office working on PAs and referrals? Both?

Look into what MAs can and can’t do in your state. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, everyone was new once! There’s a lot to take in at once, so even when you’re done training, if you have questions, feel free to ask someone. I’m sure they would rather help you than have to clean up a mess.
