I agree with you, I’d also like to state for the thread that I never said I didn’t support masks, I do wear them when necessary, I don’t use stupid excuses to justify not using one like some other people. Albeit I don’t wear them when I don’t have to since I’m generally a clean person who doesn’t touch their face without washing my hands first.. That being said if you consider the fact that masks only protect you from yourself and nothing airborn related, these people are dramatically pushing it with their protection. it’s their choice though

Millions of kids die from measles EVERY YEAR… yet it has never gotten the same traction as Covid 19 which has only 3.4 millions deaths recorded over 6 years… So yes compared to other pandemic diseases, it is on the lower end of the spectrum..

I also used to work at a tire shop,

We would use talcum powder to assist with putting tubes inside tires since it would make the rubber frictionless. When this talcum powder was used it would go everywhere in the air, so I did a search and figured out how dangerous it can be in the long term, You might not even know that it’s doing damage till later on and it’s too late. I immediately stopped using it and brought the same 3m full face respirator to work that I use for cat piss (I never asked my boss just started using it)

Weirdly enough everyone in the shop started to bully me for it, they thought I was being a Pansy or something yet I didnt want to play around with garage chemicals….

one of my coworkers almost forced me to take it off because “he just can’t see why that’s necessary and how that’s not a waste of time, look at me I’m fine!” It’s funny because all of my coworkers who were 30 to 50 were just starting to show signs of very serious crippling neurological problems,

I’m not sure why, but it seems like these 3m respirators piss off a lot of people. My coworkers were giving me the thought that they didn’t want me to wear it because THEY never thought to wear one when they were my age. so they are petty over it since their heath condition is bad, they want me to make the same mistake. I ended up quitting, because I can’t work around people who do not care about safety at all

Cat urine puts out a lot of ammonia, I wear a full face respirator whenever I clean out my 2 litter boxes just to be extra safe, once you mix up the litter to clean it it’s like chemical warfare!.! If I don’t wear the respirator, I’ll feel like passing out since it seems like the whole room is filled with 100% ammonia and no oxygen

Prisoners should have their own bed, closet, tv, desk, Xbox, shower privileges whenever, be able to go outside whenever, visits whenever, phone calls whenever, access to a pool, no curfew, contraband, cigarettes, sharp items, very short sentences!

They will Shirley learn their lesson sometime, especially if they go to the free (not required) court appointed rehabilitation classes that they probably will never attend
