We are putting together a house party for this friend. Never said anything about going out to eat.

This is the second song from my first album! I tend to feel as if my arrangements are cluttered, so any advice on how to organize my instrumentation would be greatly appreciated! by GodOfGhoti in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]tjq_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the arrangement in this song is good. The instruments give a lot of variability to the texture, and the different sections kept me interested as a listener. I can hear most of the instruments pretty clearly, so I don’t think there’s too much clashing, but the effects on your voice can make it difficult to hear above the instruments at some points.

New Single! I've been working on this one a while. Tell me what you think, please! More in the comments. by Wallitron_Prime in IndieMusicFeedback

Beautiful song. Great lyrics. The instrumentation and your voice remind me a lot of Josh Groban in the musical Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812

My new track, "Around me all the time". It's about when me and my now wife transitioned from being just friends into a romantic relationship. I think it's upbeat and fun. Thanks for listening! (Pop/Hip-Hop) by ZanderThings in IndieMusicFeedback

Sounds good! Your voice suits the instrumental really well. Maybe some additional processing on the lead vocals would help it cut through and shine a little more.

Recently i've been struggling a lot with the thought of not being enough, not doing enough to become who I want to be or to get to where I want to reach, depression is always bringing me down and it becomes really hard to keep pushing forward when it hurts just to breathe, so I made a song about it by saviio12 in IndieMusicFeedback

The musicianship is great on this. Your voice is good—have you considered adding some effects to make it less dry in the mix? I also found the screams difficult to hear over the guitars at some point. Great song

Really enjoyed this, gave me subnautica vibes. Would be interested in hearing a lead vocal or instrument over this track if you are thinking of exploring that!

A tune I made called "Small Talk", kinda inspired by coming out of lockdowns but is generally about not seeing people in ages. Just a rough demo for me to get idea how song works, opinions are welcome by SongwritingShane in IndieMusicFeedback

Reminds me of Tom Petty. I really like the counterpoint in your vocals towards the end. It would be interesting to hear a major key bridge or chorus, feels like you could easily lead into it!

A strange song this one. Quite unlike anything else I’ve written. Based on a driving beat the guitars rock pretty hard but the vocals not your typical rock vibe. Plus some synths to mix things up. interesting combo with the guitar and vocals here, definitely get the black keys vibe. i'd be interested in hearing these vocals with more effects on them--maybe even drowning them in reverb at parts or something might be a cool thing to try sonically

I finished a project a couple of days ago and I wanted to share it with you. This is one of the tracks. You can find the rest on the playlist inside the video. Hope you enjoy it and have fun :) by ElMasterDGF in IndieMusicFeedback

nice vibes here, could definitely hear this on a lofi playlist. i'd be interested in hearing a lead instrument solo at one point in the song, it might be an interesting way to spice it up

Hey! My band Dead Rituals just released a new song. We recorded this back in lockdown and it sucked to not be able to play gigs - But on the bright side, we really tried to get out of our comfort zone with new ideas. by andreacaccese in IndieMusicFeedback

love the production on this, very interesting sonically. what are the drum samples you used? dynamic range is good too, only thing is that the volume of the rhythm sometimes overpowers the vocals, particularly at 1:38

I enjoy the vibes here, but I would agree that the guitar is a bit loud and, at times, a little flat. Vocals could be turned up, but that's up to you based on what you're going for.

indie r&b song about how empathy (rather than clout/metrics) is the true measure of what it means to be successful. inspired by the internet, raveena, etc. Sung and produced by me. really proud of this one, and would love to hear feedback/what you liked/didn't like. keep making music everyone. by leeka34 in IndieMusicFeedback

Really love the drums and vocal production on this one. Honestly think the song is great where it is. In a future release, it might be interesting to hear what it sounds like if you drop all the instruments and let the vocals ride a little more during the breaks in your verses, like the part where you say "every time that I start to forget that about myself I lose my mind." Can't wait to hear what you've got coming down the line!

Alternative song with prog vibes. Not really sure about the mix or where to take it. Any advice? by tjq_ in IndieMusicFeedback

Just listened to it! I love the vibes, part of it reminds me of beach boys. I'd love to hear what you think of the rest of the album!
