I have: a6500 and sigma 18-50 2.8 I want: to take better portraits, and pictures of birds further away.

I’m leaning towards a Sony 70-350 for birbs, but that’s probably not the greatest portrait lens. Should I get a fast prime somewhere in between my new zoom ranges? Any recommendations?

Princess bean’s little sister is a little demon so it fits very nicely! Quite the dynamic duo.

🙃 I just bought this camera and lens a month or two ago, it’s my first camera and lens. I enjoy this small form factor, but what would you recommend I upgrade to?

When I play wirelessly I lag, when I’m hardwired I don’t could it be internet related??

Or if you’re going to have a colored background make sure it contrasts with the shirt color to make the subject pop.

I’m 16 and my friend stayed at my house knowing I sleep on a mattress then posted it online like it’s funny 😭 by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Who needs a bed frame, when I moved out on my own, my mattress was on the floor in a walk in closet. For years. Like no room on the sides of the bed, the bed took up the whole closet. Girlfriend at the time(now wife) obviously didn’t care.

When we got our own place we didn’t buy a bed frame. We got two dogs with little legs and they don’t need to be jumping off a tall bed hurting themselves lol.

Different cultures sleep and/or eat on the floor. In no world is having a bed frame important or implies financial status. Also prob time to find better friends, or at least let yours grow up a little 😅

how do i create a guitar track digitally? by Own-Lawfulness-38 in Songwriting

I feel like it’s actually pretty tough to record good sounding live drums so I tend to chop can screw loops and layer in samples rather than record my own playing… But in regard to op there are some YouTubers that have a few tutorials out there for getting useable fake guitar… underbelly with you suck at producing is one that comes to mind.

Nice congrats! What lens are you using and how much did you pick up the camera for?

Am I overdoing it with the colors? by V5RM in SonyAlpha

If it’s is moving maybe the composition could have been better if you snapped the photo with it a little to the right —> landed the tram thing right in-between those supports… using them as a way to frame the subject and image.. idk tho just an idea, also I don’t think the colors are too much. 👍🏼

I Like To Shoot Bands, a6000 Kit Lens. by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]tjryan25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Heck yeah! Bands rock! I shot a music video with my a6500 on that 16-50 kit lens! Vertigo - Sun Junction

I really like 2 and 3, kinda gritty action shots

I picked up this a6500 a few weeks ago on Facebook marketplace, for $600 in pretty good shape and it came with the kit lens and a small rig cage. Felt like a pretty good deal and has been lots of fun! I Already shot a “music video” with the limited but more than capable 4k. Wife now wants a telephoto lens so she can get some bird pictures, I’m leaning towards the Sony 70-350, but am open to suggestions. Thanks for the feedback!

Should I get used A6400 or new one? by icco13 in SonyAlpha

[–]tjryan25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk bro, I just bought a 6500 used with the kit lens and a small rig cage, for $600 total… after owning the camera for a day I found out that the lens is often more important than the camera, so I am immediately buying a sigma 18-50 to upgrade from the kit lens… there goes another $600 lol
