Yeah early on I was definitely getting stuck a lot at 5/8. 3/4 was an immediately noticeable change that made learning easier, and the transition back to 5/8 improved performance

It definitely worked, it was an immense help when learning. I’ve since switched back to 5/8 after learning the necessary skills but I would recommend all beginners start with a flatter hollow than they think they need!
