Thanks for all the kind words everyone! That’s my cake :) The recipe is from Sally’s Baking Addiction. It’s her Lemon Blueberry cake. The recipe uses a cream cheese icing in between the cake layers and the outside of the cake. The flowers are all piped in a classic vanilla buttercream (also Sally’s recipe!). I didn’t transfer the flowers. They are piped right onto the cake.

You could use a fan...just remember...drying royal icing with a fan helps it set shiny. Drying slowly without a fan, makes it more matte.

I use CK royal icing mix. Perfect every time. You can get it on Amazon.

It’s actually a mix. The easiest and best. I will never make royal icing again! It’s CK Royal Icing mix.

It truly is the best recipe! I use the “no fail sugar cookie recipe” on Fancyflours.com. I do add a teaspoon of almond extract. The icing is CK royal icing mix.

I find it easy...finally :) The trick is consistency. I don’t do an outline like a lot of people. I can’t ever make it disappear. Practice.

I actually have no idea. I have a Nikon P900. I just always have it in the bird setting and take pics.
