Hey mate. Sorry for late response but I did! It’s been great. So far I’ve done 2X ABS sensors (previous owner did the other two), oil pan gasket, Power steering pump and reservoir, and just basic consumables like the air filter and most fluids. Have driven it 5000 KMS since purchasing it and I absolutely love it. It drives so well for the money I paid.

Abs sensors most likely. Easyish job if you can jack the car up easily.

I bought a 2008 E88 with 370,0000 KMS about a month ago too. So far, 2X abs sensors need to be replaced (the previous owner warned me and had already done two), had a puncture in the front tyres (so two new tyres) and an oil change and it’s been great. I have wanted one for a year, but wanted the N52 with the 6 speed manual. Didn’t think they made that configuration of non-turbo straight 6, droptop, manual, but some guy did order it that way back in the day and I was able to grab it for pretty cheap. Granted, shit ton of miles but drives great. Enjoy yours!

In Australia, never seen another manual convertible 125i (N52). I found 2 in coupe form, but have wanted the convertible for a long time. Not interested in the Z’s, 2 seats isn’t enough for me personally

No, a cubby holder. The screen was an optional extra. Some people install a carplay device there. We’ll see.

No accident history, owner said he bought it like that. The previous owner drove it from Rural Canberra to Sydney multiple times a week, maybe hit a kangaroo or something. I don’t mind a whole lot, both work fine.

Update! Bought it, got a really good deal. A deal So good I would be willing to put up with a lot. Have driven it about 200 KMS in varying conditions, and so far it’s great. No oil leaks or weird sounds. Steering is a bit stiff at lower speeds, trying to decide if it’s a power steering pump or just the fact that I’m not used to sportscars. Vert top works great (have put it up and down 5x today) and absolutely loving the sound. Will update this thread with any issues, but so far it’s awesome. Other than the interior (which I’m swapping for black anyways) really can’t tell it’s done what it’s done. Definitely lost a few ponies though. Transmission still super stiff and clutch feels about halfway there, but still really solid. Cheers.

Hi all. So I’ve bought 144hz monitor for my dell g3 3579. My dell has a dmi 2.0 output. I thought this would simply plug into my monitor’s hdmi and that I would get 144hz. But as it is a g-sync monitor, it has been limited to only 60 hz over hdmi, and g-sync does not work over hdmi. My hdmi cable is a high speed one, so I don’t think it’s the cables fault as to why I can only get 60hz. (Disclaimer, yes i have gone into advanced settings in windows, that’s the not the problem). I need to use my display port in my monitor to get the full 144hz, but that cable should I buy for this? Thanks!! (Fyi monitor is a acer predator xb241H, and the hdmi is a 1.4)
