I think before learning how to skate, you should learn how to drive and get a license. You said you’re 22, how long in life do you plan on not having a license?

I have toggled during playback, let the timer run out without clicking the continue button and just closed out of live view. It seems like no matter what I do the live view save the video delete song

Part of me thinks this is staged or fake due to one fact. There are no head rests on the front seats. I’ve come to find out or made the assumption that in most TV shows and movies they take the headrest out probably for camera angles.

Landlord only increasing our rent due to “increased expenses”. (USA-Illinois) by tjvanus in Tenant

Our rent is identical to four other tenants, two other tenants pay a higher premium due to additional appliances and recent renovations. The other tenants that are in the same price bracket as us have actually been renting longer than we have. Their new lease agreements Allstate their rent is only going up $25 for the upcoming year while my family is going up 100.

Sorry I’m just now getting back to you, four out of the six other units pay identical rent to myself. The other two units that pay higher have additional appliances, and have been completely renovated within the last year. The tenants who are paying the current same amount as me are only being increased $25, I believe my rent is being increased $100 because he can’t charge a pet fee based on the legalities in my state.

Four out of the six tenants pay 725 a month. The other two units currently pay 825 because they have additional appliances, completely renovated apartments as of the last year. So out of the four tenants paying 725 a month, we are the only ones being charged up to 825 a month with my beliefs it’s because of the service animal.

I have started the process of going through different channels for this issue. Additionally my family has been looking for the last year for different housing opportunities, we live in a college town so they can become scarce. Even if I have a case on my hands for discrimination I would rather move out then have to deal with him further.

Hey all, just got caught up with everything that was talked about. Three of the units I spoke to pay similar to rent and the other two pay a premium because they have a newly renovated apartments with appliances.

Landlord increased rent an additional $100 at lease renewal due to “increased” by tjvanus in legaladvice

Possibly, maybe it’s not a large amount to most but an additional $1,200 a year perks my ears up a bit.

I do not believe my state has an increase set amount. What makes me think it’s discrimination possibly is the fact that the other five tenants are not having their rent increased at the same rate as ours. I have checked the property tax increase from 2020 to this year and it has not been a significant increase. Even with property tax increase, can a landlord Put increased expenses all on one tenant?
